I really like the bridges of the Hudson Valley.
Sometimes it feels like I can trace the contours of my life by which bridge I travel most frequently. As a kid, I frequently drove over the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to take my dad to the train (he worked in the city).
Later, when I lived in New Paltz, I'd often drive over the Mid-Hudson Bridge to spend time with the girl who's now my wife.
Lately, it's been the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, which is the quickest way to get from my house to Dietz Stadium, where I emcee matches for Stockade FC.
The silhouettes of those bridges are a key part of our local iconography. Here, they're been painstakingly reproduced as mono-width vector graphics — "painstakingly" meaning "done by a human," which isn't a given anymore — and printed in vibrant green ink on a light shirt.
